Ten before/after rewrites, and the psychology of why the good ones win.
Module 1 called the title tag the most valuable line in SEO and gave you the recipe: main keyword near the front, under about 60 characters, a promise worth clicking. But knowing a recipe and cooking well are two different things. This lesson is the practice kitchen — ten real rewrites, and the psychology of why the winners win.
The two-second election
Here is what actually happens on page one. A searcher scans the ten blue links for about two seconds, then elects one with a click. Almost nothing else matters in that moment — not your beautiful design, not your years of expertise. Just the title, and under it, the description.
Now the encouraging maths. Climbing from position 4 to position 3 can take months of patient work. Doubling the CTR of the position you already hold can take ten minutes of rewriting — and it doubles your visitors just the same. Titles are the highest-paid ten minutes in SEO.
