Google judges your site on a phone. Here is what it measures.
Open your site on a big desktop monitor and it probably looks lovely. Here is the uncomfortable truth: Google barely looks at that version.
Why? Because Google follows its users, and most searches now happen on phones. For years the desktop site was "the real site" and mobile was a bonus. Google flipped that completely: the phone version is your site, as far as ranking goes.
