Lesson 1 left you with a list of phrases and numbers. Now comes the question that separates hobbyists from professionals: which of these can you actually win?
Remember the shape of the game from Module 1: for every search, Google ranks its filing cabinet and shows ten blue links. Page one has ten seats, and every seat is already taken. To rank, you are not filling an empty chair — you are taking a seat from someone. So before you spend a day writing, you spend five minutes asking: who is sitting there, and can I beat them?

Google your phrase (use a private/incognito window, so your personal history does not colour the results) and study the ten results like a bookmaker studying the form guide.
