What this course is
Accounting has a reputation for being dry and impossible. It is neither. It is a 500-year-old system for answering two questions: where did the money come from, and where did it go? This course teaches it with piggy banks, pizza shops and pocket money — then shows you the real financial statements a company publishes, and how to read them without panicking.
By the end you will be able to
- Explain debit and credit without memorising anything
- Read a balance sheet and say what the company owns and owes
- Tell the difference between profit and cash (they are not the same)
- Record everyday business transactions correctly
- Understand what a bookkeeper does in QuickBooks, Tally or any accounting software
