Range grows from relaxed technique, not force. The patient path upward.
"How do I sing higher?" is the most asked question in singing — and the answer for sale is usually a shortcut. Here is the honest version: range grows the way flexibility grows. Gently, gradually, and more reliably than you would believe — IF you stop forcing it.
When you mapped your range in Module 2, one promise was attached: the map is a snapshot, not a verdict. This lesson is where the snapshot starts moving.
Why forcing fails (every time)
Remember the machine: higher notes come from vocal folds stretched longer and thinner, vibrating faster — a guitar string tuned up. Now watch what pushing does: shoving more air pressure and squeezing the throat presses the folds together thick and hard. Thick and hard is the opposite of long and thin. Forcing does not merely fail to reach the note — it actively blocks the physical setup the note requires. That strangled sound when a beginner reaches for a high note is the sound of two intentions fighting.
