Why not just sing with the original?
Because of the passenger problem from the song-learning lesson: the original vocal carries you and masks you. When a professional voice is doubling your every note, your ears cannot separate your pitch from theirs, so your mistakes hide in their shadow. You feel great and learn nothing.
Where to find them (free)
On any big video site, search the song name plus the word "karaoke" or "instrumental". Popular songs have dozens of free versions, usually with the lyrics scrolling on screen. For quieter practice, adding "acoustic karaoke" to the search finds gentler piano or guitar versions. This works for nearly any song you can name, in any language.
