Somewhere in almost every office is an hour that dies every Monday morning: someone opens a spreadsheet, copies the same numbers into the same email, formats it the same way, and sends it to the same people. Same shape every week; only the data changes. Module 1 called this the perfect automation target — "if you do the same thing 200 times, there must be a better way." This project is the better way.
The three parts of any self-building report
Every automated report, from a corner shop to a bank, has exactly three parts:
1The data — where the numbers live (a CSV, for us).
2The template — the fixed wording with blanks for the numbers.
3The delivery — how the finished report reaches people.
We will build them in that order, and — this is the important part — automate them in that order too.
