Drafting: kill the blank page
A blank page is the most expensive thing in office life. People delay difficult emails for days — not because writing is slow, but because starting is hard.
So don't start. Brief instead. Remember the project manager email from Module 1 — the delivery slipping from 12 March to 26 March? The four-part prompt produced a decent draft in seconds. Your job then shifted from author to editor, and editing a draft is five times faster than writing one.
The trick is to brief with the ugly truth, not polished sentences:
