Picture your five pieces presented two ways. Version one: five flat PNG files floating on a white page. Version two: the workshop poster photographed on a café wall, the social set glowing inside a phone, the Fern & Pot wordmark on a shop-front sign. Same designs, pixel for pixel — but version two gets the "ooh". This lesson is that upgrade, and it costs nothing.
Context does half the convincing
When a poster floats on a white page, the viewer has to imagine it working in the world. When it hangs on a wall, they can see it working — the imagination step is done for them. Removing that step is the whole trick, and it has a name:
