The four letters
In plain words:
R — Responsible. The person actually doing the work. Hands on keyboard.
A — Accountable. The one person who answers for the result. If it fails, this is whose name is attached. There is exactly one A per task. Always. No exceptions.
C — Consulted. People whose input you need before the work is done. A two-way conversation.
I — Informed. People who are told after it is done. A one-way message. They do not get a vote.
