Stand back and look at the apartment. It is drawn — walls, openings, fixtures, furniture — and it is exact, because every size was typed and every click snapped. But it keeps its numbers secret, and Module 2 taught you what fixes that. This lesson is not about the dimension commands (DIMLINEAR, DIMCONTINUE and DIMRADIUS are already yours); it is about strategy: WHICH numbers a builder needs, WHERE they go, and — just as important — which numbers to leave out.
The builder's test
Picture the person who will use this drawing: standing on a bare concrete slab with a tape measure, string and chalk, marking where every wall will be built. That process has a name, and your plan is its only instruction manual.
Every dimension you place should serve that person. Every dimension that does not is clutter standing in their way.
