Why 1:50 matters, and producing a PDF a builder can measure from.
Everything in this course has been building toward one physical moment: a sheet of paper (or its modern twin, a PDF) that a builder can lay a ruler on and TRUST. Your layout is framed, scaled and locked. This lesson pushes it through the plotter — and explains the handful of settings that decide whether the print tells the truth.
Why "to scale" is sacred
A drawing printed at a true 1:50 is not just a picture — it is a measuring instrument. Your 900 door prints exactly 18 mm wide (900 ÷ 50). A builder with a scale ruler — a three-sided ruler with 1:50, 1:100 and friends etched on its faces — can read ANY distance off the sheet, including ones you never dimensioned. That only works if the scale is exact, which is why the whole chain mattered: exact geometry (Module 1), honest dimensions (Module 2), a locked 1:50 viewport (last lesson), and now an honest plot.
